Wag Hotels’ 9th Annual Haunted Howl-O-Ween Party was held across 11 of their locations on October 24th, giving pet families across the U.S. a chance to join the Halloween fun and support a great cause. Wag Hotels put their heart and soul into transforming each location, making it the place to be for pets and pet parents alike. This not-so-scary Halloween bash wasn’t just about fun and games—it’s one of Wag Hotels’ biggest fundraisers, raising critical support for Frosted Faces Foundation, a nonprofit redefining golden years for senior dogs in need.
Thanks to the love and generosity of attendees and Wag Hotels’ amazing work across all locations, this year’s party raised over $6,000, nearly tripling last year’s funds!
LunaMarie: Putting the ‘Fun’ in Fundraiser
At LunaMarie, we were thrilled to support this pawsome event by donating Pet Spa Packs to the Silent Auctions across all participating Wag Hotels’ locations. Each Spa Pack—complete with a lux pet bandana, cold-pressed pet hemp oil, bath brush, rosé bottle pet toy, organic paw balm, bath bombs, and our pet shampoo—had pet parents bidding in style, knowing their support was going toward such an impactful cause.
For us, giving back is more than just an annual gesture; it’s woven into everything we do. This was a perfect way to show that love by joining forces with a community that celebrates pets with the same heart!
Costume Contests, Cruella de Vil, and So Much More!
This year’s Haunted Howl-O-Ween lineup was everything Halloween dreams are made of. The costume contest was a fan favorite, with categories like Best in Show, Most Spooktacular, and Cutest Pawtners for those epic human-and-dog duo costumes. And, in a sweet twist, a senior dog dressed as a little cowboy stole the show, winning the crowd’s hearts with his charm and playful spirit. Attendees could also snap photos with Cruella de Vil herself (and her signature villainous style), adding a little Disney magic to the mix.
The Silent Auction was another major highlight, filled with goodies generously donated by amazing sponsors. Bidders got to vie for fantastic prizes, knowing that every dollar would go straight to the Frosted Faces Foundation. And if that wasn’t enough, guests could treat their furry friends to activities like bobbing for apples, sipping pumpkin-spice puppuccinos, and having a blast at the scented bubble station.
Frosted Faces Foundation: The Real Heroes of the Night
While the party was loads of fun, its real magic lay in the mission it supports. The Frosted Faces Foundation, founded by Kelly and Andy, works tirelessly to provide senior dogs with love, comfort, and quality care. What started as a simple act of love for two adorable senior pups has blossomed into a full-scale rescue organization, reuniting senior dogs with families and ensuring they receive the care they deserve in their golden years. It’s a mission close to our hearts, and one that makes being a part of events like Haunted Howl-O-Ween that much more meaningful.
The Heartwarming Power of Community Spirit
Pamela Simmonite, Integrated Marketing Specialist at Wag Hotels, shared a peek behind the scenes, revealing just how heartwarming this year’s event truly was. “This year’s Haunted Howl-o-ween Party brought pet lovers together nationwide. One moment that melted everyone’s hearts was seeing a senior dog dressed as a cowboy—he had everyone cheering him on! Knowing this event benefits senior pups in need made it extra special,” she said.
The community’s love and support were palpable, with both pet parents and their pups leaving the event with memories, friendships, and a whole lot of Halloween spirit!
An Unfurgettable Night, and Counting Down to Next Year
Between the fantastic costumes, festive treats, and a meaningful cause, Wag Hotels’ 9th Annual Haunted Howl-O-Ween Party was a celebration to remember! It wasn’t just about the fun (though there was plenty of it); it was about bringing pet lovers together to make a difference. LunaMarie is beyond grateful to have been part of this wonderful tradition, helping to make the world a better place for the senior dogs who deserve all the love we can give.
Mark your calendars for next year and prepare for an even bigger, better celebration. Whether you’re there to dress up your pet, join in on the fun, or simply support a cause that matters, Haunted Howl-O-Ween is the place to be!
